Maximum seat travel depth ~2″ at chair middle or ~1.5″ at sit bones. Max frequency > 1 down-up cycle per minute on max travel depth, for > 12 hrs motion between charges. Decrease seat depth setting to increase max frequency (half depth doubles max freq).
- What does it weigh?
Bimpo Chair weighs 45 lbs without removeable footrests and seat cushion, and folds to < 15″ wide for storage/transport. Chair weighs 53 lbs with all accessories attached. Bimpo Chair is rated for users up to 250 lbs.
- Can I use in a vehicle?
No. Bimpo Chair is not designed or safe to use in a vehicle. User must transfer to approved vehicle seat.
- Can I use WiFi remote away from home?
Use Bimpo Chair WiFi Browser Remote or Android App anywhere chair can connect to WiFi router or mobile device WiFi hotspot, to view chair status or change motion settings.
- Can I use with any wheelchair cushion?
Bimpo Chair can be used with any aftermarket wheelchair cushion. Included Bimpo Cushion designed to maximize seat pressure relief with seat movement.
- Can I return if unsatisfied?
Yes; return Bimpo Chair risk-free within 30 days of purchase.
- What if battery dies while seat down or moving?
Seat sides return to Up Position (regular symmetrical seat) if battery dies or is unplugged or switched off. Then Bimpo Chair continues to function like any nonmotorized comfortable chair.
- What if motor fails?
Though motors longevity should exceed warranty period (> 2 years maintenance-free), Bimpo Chair senses a motor failure and adjusts second motor movement to prevent user seat pressure increase. Buzzer alarm also sounds to alert user of chair malfunction needs servicing. Do not repeat use of broken chair.
- Will seat pinch me?
Do not put body parts or foreign objects in chair pinch points, between seat sides. Bimpo Chair reverses movement if senses foreign object pinched between seat sides, and buzzer alarm sounds if object not removed. Bimpo Cushion design also prevents loose objects (testicles) from falling between seat sides. Chair pauses movement for empty seat or missing cushion.
